Agri-Fab 16-In Push Spike Aerator

The Agri-Fab 45-0365 is a 16-inch walk-behind push spike aerator designed for do-it-yourself lawn care. It features 5 heavy-duty spike discs that provide a soil penetration of 2.5 inches. To achieve maximum soil penetration, an additional 35 lbs can be added to the top of the aerator.

This spike aerator is great for perforating sod and grass, allowing nutrients, air, and moisture to reach the roots for a healthier lawn. The rotating star-shape tines slice into the soil, enabling seed, fertilizer, water, air, and light to penetrate the grass roots. With 5 to 7-inch spiked wheels, the aerator can provide up to 2-1/2 inches of aeration depth.

The long axle offers a 16-inch aerating width, allowing for fast coverage of a large area. The aerator is equipped with a steel weight tray that can hold a concrete block to provide pressure and push the spikes into the moist ground. Some assembly is required, but no tools are needed.
